Chef Peter Vangenechten is driven and determined. He is assisted by his partner Marjan. She supports Peter in the day-to-day business. Since 2018, Peter and Marjan are the proud parents of Isabella who is already attracted to the good stuff.

The team is young and motivated. Every day, they take care of a top-class restaurant with a soul. Our dining room employees are dressed by Nuyts men’s fashion.
Sharing knowledge and experience; this combination ensures for La Belle to guarantee supreme gastronomy. That is the reason why we established the LAB.

Een nieuw seizoen betekent een nieuw menu bij La Belle! Vanaf vrijdag 13 Juni verwelkomen we u graag om onze gloednieuwe gerechten te ontdekken, waarin het beste van de zomer centraal staat. Als ode aan de vis, schaal en schepdieren zoals, Langoustines, Noordzeekrab en jonge tarbot, stellen wij met trots ons menu voor. Ook zal er wat veranderen deze zomer in La Belle! Dit om jullie nog meer te verwennen, benieuwd hierover....? Wij brengen jullie snel op de hoogte heirvan! Hou ons in de gaten! Tot snel, Chef Peter.

Higher rating in Gault&Millau 2025
On Monday 4 November, the new Gault&Millau Guide 2025 was presented. Restaurant La Belle receives a higher rating and rises to a score of 15/20 with three chef's hats. 💬 ‘The atmosphere is particularly relaxed and pleasant and this striking casualness is also found on the plate. His creative and beautifully presented dishes focus on local ingredients that are perfectly cooked and finely seasoned. Vegetables play an important role in this cuisine ... A higher rating and third chef's hat are deserved.’ We are grateful to Gault&Millau Belgium for the words of praise and for grading our restaurant.
