Monday, Thursday and Friday between 12.00 and 13.30 o’clock you enjoy a specific lunch menu packed with flavour and colour. A 4-, 5- or 6-course menu is also available.

extensive enjoyment

We compose all of our menus, as well as our wine list, with the utmost care. A chef’s menu will be served on Sunday and Monday.

“La Belle is like coming home to me” - chef Peter Vangenechten

As of a very young age, Peter has been inspired by cooking. 

He stood next to chefs in top restaurants domestic and abroad. 

Just before he turned thirty – after being away from home for 15 years – he was eager to return to his roots and to open his own restaurant in his native village of Geel-Bel. 


Following valuable mentions in Gault&Millau, he received a Michelin star in 2013 which he defended with flying colours in the past years.

Moorland Gin
De Moorland Gin is een eigen creatie van Restaurant La Belle. Op minder dan een kilometer van het restaurant vindt u onder andere struikheide, bessen van krentenboompjes, naalden van de den … Het moerasgebied daar vlakbij heet de ‘Duvelskuil’, genoemd naar de overvloed aan duivelsklauw die er te vinden is. Al deze smaken en geuren combineren we in onze eigen gin. Bestel hem voor vaderdag in het restaurant of online in de webshop.


4-hands dinner

Restaurant La Belle and Restaurant 't Korennaer join hands for a 4-hand star dinner. The two star chefs Peter Vangenechten and Edwin Van Goethem prepare a 6-course menu together. On Monday 24 April chef Vangenechten will be a guest at 't Korennaer and on Monday 15 May chef Van Goethem will come to La Belle. Thanks to this exclusive composition, two stars cook in your favorite restaurant. Would you like to experience this opportunity with us?
